You can change the worlds that are stored on your Realm server whenever you want. Keep in mind that replacing one of the worlds on your Realm server may result in losing progress. If you would like to save your progress, we recommend downloading the world before you replace it with a different world. Do not rely on your Realm’s backups, because they are not retained indefinitely.

To download a world from one of your Realm’s slots, follow these instructions:

1. In Minecraft, select Play.
2. Enter the Realm’s slots screen.
3. Select the Realm slot with the world you want to download.
4. Choose Edit World.
5. Either:
   a) Select Download World if you want to download the most recent version of that world.
   b) Select Backups to see a list of backups for that slot and to download any of them. 
6. When the download is complete, choose Let's Go!

To replace a world in one of your Realm’s slots, follow these instructions:

1. In Minecraft, select Play.
2. Enter the Realm’s slots screen.
3. Select the Realm slot with the world you want to replace.
4. Choose Edit World.
5. Select Replace World.
6. Choose the world you want to load onto your Realm server.
7. When the replacement is finished, choose Let's Go!
