Buy Minecoins

Minecoins are a digital currency used in the Minecraft Marketplace to purchase content on your account. 

All purchases for Minecoins are final and cannot be refunded. However, if an unauthorized purchase of Minecoins on Minecraft.net was made on your account,, you can contact Microsoft Support.

If you buy Minecoins on Minecraft.net or through the Marketplace in a version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, a Microsoft account is required.

If you play on a console and sign into Minecraft with your device’s account, you can link that account to a Microsoft account so that Minecoins and non-exclusive purchases are available across different devices that play Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. See Linking Microsoft Accounts | Minecraft Help for more information. 

After you purchase Minecoins, they will be available in the Minecraft Marketplace when you sign into Minecraft: Bedrock Edition with the same account you used to buy the Minecoins. When you buy Minecoins on Minecraft.net, you may see items you want to buy. Select the Get this item button. If Minecraft is installed on the same device, the game will open directly to the Marketplace page where you can buy that item.  

If you were playing Minecraft while buying Minecoins on Minecraft.net, you may need to sign out of Minecraft and restart the game for your new balance to appear in the Marketplace. 

Minecraft Tokens are digital currency you buy with real money to purchase digital content in the Minecraft Store on PlayStation. Tokens are similar to Minecoins, but are only usable on PlayStation. 

While non-exclusive content purchased on other platforms’ Minecraft Marketplace can be used on PlayStation, your Minecoins must be used on other Bedrock platforms. If you purchase non-exclusive content in the Minecraft Store on PlayStation, that content will be usable on other Bedrock platforms. 

Tokens cannot be converted into Minecoins or vice versa.
