The Better Together update didn’t just bring you cross-platform play. It didn’t just bring you Marketplace content accessible across compatible devices. It didn’t just bring you massive servers, new minigames, maps, adventures, armor stands, banners, parrots, game rules, start options, player permissions, safety settings, tutorials and invite links. It didn’t just bring you coarse dirt. Oh no! Tucked away in the massive update were even more subtle and powerful features: like the ability for you to export your Minecraft builds, edit them, personalise them and share them online!
Remix 3D is a new 3D community that lets you browse thousands of fancy 3D creations right from your browser - and contribute to it too! We’ve built support into Minecraft for Windows 10 so that you can use structure blocks to select parts of your world and export them to Remix 3D.
Check out what other Minecrafters have been uploading to Remix 3D here.
Remix 3D works alongside Paint 3D, too, so you can deface - uh, I mean decorate your creations further.
Remix 3D is in on-going development, so you can expect lots more exciting functionality down the line. Right now, you can even use the Mixed Reality Viewer app to place your Minecraft builds in photos of the real world!
Exciting stuff! Watch the video above for a quick look at how it all works.
