If there is one thing I wish I could give to the next generation that’s coming up in this increasingly expensive world, it would be better housing opportunities. Barring that, maybe some new Minecraft maps from our community would suffice? For those of us that are not castle-accommodated (if you are, hook me up with your supplier), it’s rare that you have an optimal living situation – these maps understand you!

New on Realms: Affordable Housing
9 new listings of maps to take up residence in!
Life in the big city can be tough. At times, the stress can feel like walls are closing in on you – wait, that’s actually happening here! Skyrise Brawl is a real-life housing simulator shrinking map-style PvP, where the increasingly limited space for drinking one’s frappuccinos and other city-type activities leads to the players lashing out at each other for basic elbow room. Feel free to enjoy this map either as a future sci-fi dystopia or just as an outlet for your urban planning-based frustrations!
LIVING LARGE
BY THE PROCRASTINATORS

Living Large poses an elegant solution to better your living conditions – in order to maximize your luxury, minimize yourself! If you’re the same size as a saltshaker, all of a sudden a kitchen sink is an Olympic sized pool! An oven is a sauna that can fit your entire lineage of similarly sized ascendants! Next year’s vacation plans: a safari adventure in the potted plant! While we wait for shrink-ray technology to save us from our modest lot in life, you can simulate the experience with this map that even has a bonus parkour course – do keep in mind that you can’t turn off fall damage in real life.
DISASTER STAR 2
BY JONTOHIL2
Looking for a place to live can uh, feel like a disaster sometimes (Editors note: Great segue Oskar!). While on the topic, don’t you just hate it whenever there’s a sequel to a disaster movie? It spoils the ending to the first entry, because obviously the disaster wasn’t cool enough to end humanity, and honestly, if you’ve seen one extraterrestrial sinkhole, you’ve seen them all. Hollywood could learn a lot from the Disaster Star series, where in the first installment you can pick all sorts of world-ending events for your smorgasbord of doom, and the sequel expands on that by allowing you to amplify select ones! If you ever wanted to experience a level 9 pignado (or ‘The Full English Breakfast’ as meteorologists call it), here’s your chance!
