Hey, at least you don’t have a trail of fire following your every step, while an enormous sinkhole is rapidly growing from the center of your area and the world is slowly turning into gold, lethal gold that kills you when you touch it! As long as you don’t suffer from aurophobia, sink-or-swim scenarios like these can actually boost your productivity and help you get your inspiration back! Catastrophe gives you a random selection of perilous situations to tackle with your friends, and whoever survives will receive an inspirational boost matching your accomplishment. History is written by winners, ‘cause they’re the ones who have enough creativity to finish their draft!

BUMBLING BEES

Something that can severely impact your creativity is being beaten to the punch. Hypothetical situation: you work for a video game company that recently released an update focused on a specific insect, and all the promotional writing for this update has exhausted all the puns on the species’ single-syllable name. Later, you’re tasked with writing about a community created map featuring the same insect and all the good jokes have already been taken. That stings! Anyway, Bumbling Bees is a supremely cool map where you control a horde of bees, pollinate flowers, in order to become the top honey capitalist among your friends. But as they say, more honey, more problems!

CAVE BLAST

Cave Blast takes you to subterranean depths, where a peculiar set of construction workers are blasting blocks, mayhap as to create some interconnecting tunnel network throughout the underground. Their pedantic nature only allows them to trigger their explosives when the blocks adjacent to each other are of the same kind, anything else would be uncivilized. I might be making all of this up. However, Cave Blast is a fun game that focuses on one of the core needs in our behavioral pyramid: the desire to line up blocks and then blast them into smithereens. And with that comes my final tip: in case of emergency, just avoid your theme completely and write a tidbit about a sweet Java Realms map!
