    Minecraft DIYs To Impress Your Friends

    Flowers are very pretty and nice, but it doesn't take very long before they're a pile of wilting, dried-out plants that you have to throw out. Imagine if your other furniture stopped looking nice after a week – if your sofa turned to mush when you sat on it, and your dining room table deflated and started attracting flies, you'd stop buying them, wouldn't you?

    In Minecraft, flowers never die. In fact, nothing ever dies, unless you introduce it to your sword. So why not make your own version of Minecraft flowers, which are clearly much better than regular flowers? In this compilation of Minecraft DIYs from Pretty DIYs, you can learn from hailey.ooof how to paint tiny flowers onto white shoes for custom kicks to make all your friends jealous, or let kaycee.pham teach you how to grab those same friends to help you make some potted plants out of wooden cubes that won't die on you like houseplants always do.

    See, the nice thing about Minecraft is that it doesn't take a lot of artistic skill to recreate something from the game. Not that our pixel artists aren't incredibly skilled, mind you – it's just that all you need to do is draw a grid of squares, and paint each one individually. Anyone can do that!

    In fact, another one of the crafts in this compilation, done by sapwastakenn, does just that, taking a few square canvases and using them to recreate your favourite Minecraft YouTuber's face. Like the other Minecraft crafts, you just need a lot of paint, a ruler, a pencil, and patience – and if you want something a bit more three-dimensional, you can use wooden cubes instead of the canvas, too!

    And why not paint your own Minecraft skin, and those of your friends, while you're at it? I think that would make a really nice gift for anyone who's into Minecraft! In fact, I might make one myself. Does anyone have a few hundred wooden cubes lying around?
