The Lunar New Year is upon us, marking a new beginning, new opportunities, and – a Monkey King! Yes, I said Monkey King, because no Lunar New Year is complete without a Monkey King (there, I’ve said “Monkey King” three times now. Four times! In fact, I can’t seem to stop saying Monkey King, oh no, five times, okay, I’m done). 

Starting today, January 28 at 10am PST and stretching until February 4 at 10am PST, we’re unleashing our Lunar New Year celebration*, packed with Monkey Ki...oh, I mean add-ons, worlds, texture packs, and more – so it’s sure to have something for everyone (even Monkey Kings!).

Join the Monkey King – Sun Wukong – on his adventure, as he uncovers the secrets of the Peach Banquet, fights for his freedom in the Exquisite Pagoda, and storms the Southern Heavenly Gate, for a final showdown with the mighty Erlang Shen. This is truly a thrilling, and immersive adventure, full of abilities to upgrade and action to experience.

Last week, we cuteified Minecraft a bit (yeah, it’s a word, why not), as the Hello Kitty® and Friends DLC was released. In it, you can create your own cozy farm, grow crops, and raise loveable animals alongside beloved Sanrio® characters like Hello Kitty, Cinnamoroll™, Kuromi™, and many more!
