Join Worlds of Learning

Play for peace and more!

Around the world, people everywhere are getting ready to go back to school. Not me, of course, I left school a long time ago, but that doesn’t mean I can’t learn new things! Just yesterday I learned that jumping into a Nether portal whilst chasing a frog will end in the frog doing just fine and me losing my entire inventory (learning in action, I’d say!) Now you can join in the fun with our special Worlds of Learning event.

Between August 30 and September 6, Minecraft Marketplace is going back to school and celebrating learning with a whole host of educational treats for you, your friends, and your family to enjoy, including a free map from Minecraft Education and the Nobel Peace Center!

Discover the Peace Builders map

Log in to play the free Peace Builders adventure* created through a Minecraft Education partnership with the Nobel Peace Center. Meet four ground-breaking Nobel Peace Prize laureates: Jody Williams, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, journalist Carl Von Ossietzky and the United Nations Refugee Agency, and help restore peace to your Overworld. Discover their stories and learn from their experiences as you take on challenges like clearing a minefield or rebuilding a post-earthquake city, and see how your efforts mirror the real-life humanitarian benefits of their work. Can you and your family restore peace to the Overworld? Download the adventure* and find out!

Throughout this week-long Worlds of Learning event you’ll also find a whole host of curated content to explore, and you can get your hands on two free Character Creator Items. Claim your Press Cap and a Press Coat so you can really look the part as you investigate all these fantastic adventures! I’m going to don mine as I delve into the Peace Builders map to see what I can learn (especially because this adventure has significantly fewer Nether portals…) If you want to join me, then head on down to Minecraft Marketplace between August 30 and September 6 and see what you can discover!

*Access to free items requires the latest version of Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (sold separately). Redeem free items by Sept. 6 2022 (10am PT); limit 1 of each per person/account. Multiplayer functionality shown requires platform specific online subscriptions (sold separately).
