It's now easier than ever to follow our channel!

UPDATE: The Nintendo Switch recently got an update that makes it even easier to find the Minecraft news channel, so we thought we'd update the gallery in this story to show you how you can follow us!

The Nintendo Switch is a great console for playing Minecraft. Play on the TV! Play in handheld mode! Play in bed! Play on the bus! (Unless you're meant to be driving said bus!) Play while you're supposed to be writing an article for Minecraft.net about the Switch news channel!

Are you following our Switch News Channel? Our brilliant writer/editor, Nova Barlow, has been updating it every week. Follow us on your Switch and you'll see game updates, top tips, crafting recipes, the backstory of blocks and items, and more!

Here's how you can follow the Nintendo News Channel on your Nintendo Switch:

[1/5] - First, turn on your Nintendo Switch and try to resist a 'quick' game of Slay the Spire. Select the circle on the bottom-left to open 'News'.

[2/5] -Here you'll see updates from all the game channels you're following. To find ours, select 'Find Channels' in the top-right corner.

[3/5] - You can scroll through a list of channels, or, far more efficiently, use the 'Search by Keyword' box on the right!

[4/5] - Now type in 'Minecraft'. Try to spell it better than I did.

[5/5] - It's our channel! Avalaible in both English and Japanese. Give us a follow! Because if you had a Nintendo Switch news channel, we'd follow you. Honest.

You don't even need to own Minecraft on Nintendo Switch to follow our channel on your Switch! So looks like you're all out of excuses not to. Unless your excuse is “I'm busy trying to 100% Celeste,” in which case, fair enough! Well done for even managing to pause that platformer made of pure joy/pain/joy again™ long enough to read this article.
