First up, we have a vending machine, which uses bookshelves as the items inside, a clever hack with item frames and trapdoors to create a little hatch for the items, and a dispenser to actually dispense food, just like a vending machine. If you've got an office in any of your builds, this one is a must-have — fill it with cookies and apples for both diet-conscious and diet-unconscious employees!
Secondly, my favourite build of the four: an arcade machine, which requires the hack of using dispensers to place armour stands, and using pistons to push those armour stands close together to create the joysticks. This is going to be tricky to get right, but it's worth it for the effect — and if you're hoping to build an entire arcade full of machines, you'll get the hang of it quickly. Using a painting as the screen, and a banner as the front hatch, you can even make it look like there's a place where all the coins go. Or emeralds, I suppose.
Anyway, back to the office for the third build: a water cooler! After all, your cookie-loving employees are going to need somewhere to discuss all the things they watched on TV last night (and by "watched on TV", we mean "saw out the window", because Minecraft doesn't have TVs). With the clever application of dyed leather caps, and our old friends, piston blocks and armour stands, we can create the hot and cold taps. From there, it's a matter of pushing the blocks down into the correct place to get it looking like a water cooler. This one is tricky, but it looks cool...er.
But if you want a working water cooler, and not just a place for your employees to natter on about the zombie outside their house last night, then BlenDigi has a solution for you: a water cooler that actually dispenses bottles of water! How fancy! This build is a little easier than the last one, with a lot less maneuvering armour stands into position. Plus, it actually works!
BlenDigi also has a second video with even more machines, including another arcade machine design, an ice cream machine, a coffee machine, and a microwave that dispenses cooked chicken. Incredible.
