We stand in unwavering support of the Black community, denouncing the racism, oppression, and suffering endured by so many for too long. As a team, we’ve been listening, learning, and considering how we can contribute to the powerful movements pushing for equality and justice in the US and around the world – because Black lives matter.
In commemoration of Juneteenth, this Friday, June 19th, 2020, we will be donating profits from digital storefront sales of Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons, as well as purchases of content in the Minecraft Marketplace made from 12:00 AM PT to 11:59 PM PT to the following organizations: Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, Equal Justice Initiative, and the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.
Thanks to help from partners such as Amazon who have waived their royalty fees, these donations will go even further.
