    Our Marketplace Picks: September 2019

Our three favourite Marketplace highlights for the previous month!

Agriculture. What nobler pursuit is there for a humble, down-to-earth Minecrafter? But what if you don't like getting your hands dirty? Me, a city boy whose delicate hands twitch in horror at the thought of manual labor, would much prefer to just plant and harvest with one click, and keep my collection of diamond hoes in mint condition. Having a travelling merchant visit the farm every day via plane with exclusive deals also means I don't need to get off my lazy butt too much to trade. Hey Per, maybe this could be an idea for a new Minecraft feature?

Caverns of Chaos is a solid game that focuses on giving the player a classic dungeon crawler experience, while at the same time saving a village. Starting off in the village that was being affected by the mysteries going on deep down below, gave me enough time to gather my equipment, resources, and courage. Each dungeon presented me with plenty of exploration, and new areas were discovered by unlocking passages and connecting bridges. I enjoyed the puzzle-aspect each dungeon provided as they found clever ways of incorporating Minecraft elements from the base game. Finding towers with bells to ring, altars to set on fire, wither skeleton skulls to collect and place in a shrine… and much more. Side quests such as finding the caged villagers that had been kidnapped - they reminded me of my mission and purpose of going down into these dungeons, and gave me that extra push to fight for the people!

If clowns don’t frighten your pants off, then this spooky but sweet story-driven game is perfect for you! I personally enjoy being creeped out, so diving into the sewers to look for my friend who had been kidnapped by those pesky clowns was a mission I gladly accepted. It became interesting to find out I was not the only one down in the sewers; seems like you can make friends in all kinds of places! I highly enjoyed practising my unicycle skills, which will most definitely be useful in the real world. I loved all of the eerie clown laughs echoing in the corridors, and details such as hands reaching out towards me from pipes on the walls as I passed them. I’m not a big fan of popping balloons, but when it comes to saving my mates, I’ll use that sling-shot and face my fears!
