New on Realms: And the Winner Is...

Homer’s epic about the misadventures of Odysseus has long been considered a classic in literature, although any cultural observer with more than a cursory glance can realize it has not only one fatal flaw but several. Firstly, it is not set in space. Secondly, there are no villager astronauts, spacecraft travel, nor is there a grilled cheese shop on the final planet in the solar system! Luckily, LunaEclipse4304 have rectified all of these errors in this stunning adventure debut on Realms!

The trio of MrCube6, 4CVIT, & Bansed are always keen to outdo not only themselves, but us too. As such, they have submitted their own interpretations of the map jam themes with a tale of unexplored dimensions, unreliable narrators, and unfortunately-not-as-fashionable-as-they-used-to-be furniture! After a request from your old man to find the titular object in the attic, you are swept away to a wholly new world where up is down, parkour jumps are plenty, and your only way to return is to reassemble this chair while an unseen antagonist is plotting your demise! So, kinda like a trip to IKEA, but less stressful.

TITANOMECHIA

Throwing their mythological space hat into the ring is DrSallan, Tado, & Eroxen with a minigame where you are assigned the small task of saving humanity – no biggie! Collect scrap metal from abandoned spaceships that might be abandoned for a reason so maintaining your ship and sanity is paramount! From what I’ve been told, the name is based off ‘Titanomachy’ which was the titan war that caused the Greek god Atlas to carry the world on his back for eternity – which is then symbolized in the ship’s eternal journey as this game is continuous! Please don’t double check any of that, I am just a mere map enjoyer, not a theologian!
