There are some benefits to increasing your age digits. Lawn trespasser enforcement becomes more socially acceptable. You unlock a whole new bracket of age-based insults to hurl at people. Age also brings more Minecraft wisdom, something that can prove very beneficial to our first entry in this month’s release!

PLAYABLE CHESS

Some people say you can’t beat the classics, but sometimes things just get old. Uh, talking about chess here. Chess has been on the backburner for a while, with a severe lack of DLC’s and patches since the alpha release (please nerf Queen). This one hit wonder franchise needs a reboot, and what better place to do it but in Minecraft? My excitement has reached new peaks, and I think it says something about Minecraft’s powers of necromancy if it can make a passé game such as Chess... Playable again.

MYSTICARIA

Appreciation of nature is also something that increases as you grow older. The nature in Minecraft of course, I’m not talking about that dreadful place called ‘outside’! Mysticaria is a world template that is a feast for the eyes, with huge cherry blossom and oak trees in a lush valley. If you're looking to settle down there’s lots of cozy cottages both high and low, which means less chance of being disturbed by your neighbors' jukebox playing. This verticality does however mean a lot of stairs, but thankfully, osteoarthritis is not a Minecraft feature yet.
