    Meet the creators of MC:T1

    A mod that helps players learn the effects of diabetes

    What started as a way for a father and son to approach a life-changing diagnosis turned into a worldwide campaign for awareness and education. Prahlad and Josh Wulf, supported by magikcraft.io, have created a way to use the powers of Minecraft to teach people about living with type 1 diabetes. They did this with their Minecraft mod, MC:T1. MC:T1 teaches players about the correlation between food, insulin, and type 1 diabetes by turning it into a something that players can experience themselves in Minecraft.

    Information about type 1 diabetes is often dense and complicated, but by putting it within the framework of Minecraft, medical information becomes an intuitive part of the gameplay.
