Enjoy fine dining the Minecraft way

Have you ever really stopped and thought about just how many different food choices are available to you in Minecraft? You should! Food is an essential part of our virtual, blocky lives – and what better way to show off your bountiful buffet than by creating a fantastic dinner arrangement for you and your friends?

Of course, the first place you want to start is the star of your meal: the main course. There are soups, stews, and over a dozen choices of dishes, and you can pair them with a variety of fruits, vegetables, or even just bake up a batch of bread. Just grab three wheat and your creative cookout is already ready to roll.

Feeling like something sweet for dessert? Why not finish off your meal with one of our favorite treats, a freshly crafted cookie? You could also cook up a pumpkin pie, or go all out and make cakes to celebrate surviving your battle with the Ender Dragon!

Victory is a dish best served with cake.

But what grand feast would be complete without an amazing set up to display it? A recommendation would be to start with a pleasant picnic area outside, complete with a barbeque. It’s perfect for a get-together without having to tidy up your house! Just keep an eye out for wandering creatures who may be theoretically tempted to ruin your gastronomic gathering. You don’t need to prepare extra food or anything – we all know they’re just there to invade your party, not eat the food.

Why not make your next party a barbeque?

Once you’re ready to bring the party inside, why not add an elegant dining room set with a formal dining table and chairs to your home? Try creating your long table with carpet (or fancy-looking glazed terracotta), stone, and strategically placed flower pots to accent your design, but it’s your table, so set it up however you like. Or maybe you’re like us and only have room for a cozy corner near your kitchen with a tiny table and a couple of chairs? It’s all good! Not every build has to be epic to be beautiful.
