    Community Roundup: Warden Fanart

    During Minecraft Live this year, we got a sneak peek at the warden – a new hostile mob that is sure to send shivers down the spines of everyone. Found in the Deep Dark and sure to strike terror in the hearts of even the bravest of players, Warden has quickly become one of the most talked about mobs on the official Minecraft Discord.

    Of course, this means we just had to ask the community to share fan art inspired by their love (and fear) of the warden. Plus, we really wanted to get to the bottom of the question, “How is warden?” We loved seeing all the creeptacular submissions the community came up with and are thrilled to share, in no particular order, which ones made us afraid to go into the Deep Dark.

    Bread33 stunned us with this amazing drawing of Alex and Steve venturing into the Deep Dark, unaware of the warden creeping up behind them.

    Fungus took to pen and paper, delivering their take on our Deep Dark friend.

    Complete with a warning message, Johnora’s submission has us wondering just how helpful torches may or may not be!

    Acey’s warden came with an eerie blue glow that’s rather haunting.

    PixelCorgi, on the other hand, brought the cuteness with their warden. Just look at that art style and the great use of light around Steve!

    Taking us to the beloved era of retro gaming, Macro somehow managed to make the warden look less scary.

    Alex R’s submission completely blew us away. Between the art style and the use of color, this was simply outstanding (while still bringing the terror).

    Titled “The Warden Rises,” we love how ExSeq used various shades of cool and warm color pencils for their piece.

    ToddMR turned up the horror-factor with their Warden. We definitely wouldn’t want to run into this terror in the Deep Dark!

    Toffy Bucket’s warden is actually... rather adorable. Just check out those little feeties.

    This submission from Derp-O’-Cube is a bit of some blocky goodness. We love the unique use of shapes!

    Finally, Isaiah is giving some serious nightmare fuel with their warden. Who knew pen on paper could be so scary?!

    We were truly astounded by the variety of submissions sent in as well as the passion and excitement for the warden and the Wild Update overall, so thank you to everyone who participated.
