Build Challenge: SpongeBob SquarePants

SpongeBob (and all your undersea favs) are HERE! The SpongeBob SquarePants DLC was released in the Minecraft Marketplace today and to celebrate all our friends in Bikini Bottom, we’re featuring some of our favorite SpongeBob-themed builds submitted by YOU, the community!

So, which submissions had us singing Sweet Victory? Read on to find out!

SpongeBob and DoodleBob by SBS10 had us wanting to shout “Me Hoy Minoy!”

TarryBuffalo created SpongeBob showcasing his Krabby Patty skills. Don’t worry, despite this awesome build, we still won't let Plankton get the Krabby Patty Secret Formula.

Brenincraftt submitted their take on SpongeBob getting ready for his shift at the Krusty Krab. All he needs is his trusty spatula!

I’m a goofy goober, you’re a goofy goober, and we’re all goofy goobers for this rockin’ submission by DiMinuto!

This Alaskan Bull Worm by Simon Vasquez and Juan Diego Vargas is enormous and bound to eat everything.

Squidward’s house was created by Neville Longtentacle. Built using Bluestone blocks from the Blockus fabric mod, you can almost hear Squidward playing his clarinet. Just don’t ask him to blow bubbles with you!

This submission by buckeyes showcases SpongeBob riding on Mystery the sea horse as they go on pursuit of a jellyfish.

Johnora showed us their rendition of the great Alaskan Bull Worm emerging from the desert.

Got a great SpongeBob-themed build of your own? We’d love to see it! Use #FeatureMeMinecraft on social media and keep an eye out for future build challenges here on our website!

And while you’re at it, check out the SpongeBob DLC in the Minecraft Marketplace! You can Explore Bikini Bottom’s iconic locations like the Krusty Krab and the Chum Bucket, Jellyfish Fields and the famous pineapple under the sea. Available now!
