    Build Challenge: Land of Rainbows II

    It feels like the year is flying by! Not only is it time for another Build Challenge but it’s also time to celebrate Pride! In honor of Pride Month, we wanted to continue our colorful tradition of celebrating equality for all through creativity and beautiful builds.

    For this challenge, the theme was open-ended, as we just wanted to see participants build something colorful. Teams of up to five were allowed.

    “You know those plants that are always trying to find the light? Maybe they were planted in a location that didn’t necessarily facilitate growth, but inexplicably they make a circuitous route to not only survive but bloom into a beautiful plant.” – Jonathan Van Ness

    1st place: sander, ChomChom, voov, M.Yoda, and mokie

    With the sheer amount of detail and intricacies in this submission, it’s mind-blowing to know that the teams only had two weeks to come up with their submission idea, put it together, and submit it. This takes Atlantis to a whole new level, and it’s a fabulous one with a curvy rainbow road that leads into the city. Even Poseidon is celebrating with his rainbow-hued outfit.

    2nd place: Prettygirl11387, kill_Switch, iTriplet, and ItzOrrangey!

    Our second place submission continues to amaze with how much can be created in a short amount of time. There is a lot going on here, with a ton of gorgeous detail. The rolling rainbow hills, the giant, glorious tree providing an abundance of shade, and a magnificent cat with mice on its back. If this was a place to go and visit, I'd have my ticket booked yesterday.

    3rd place: destructor

    Finally, taking on the challenge by themselves is destructor, who landed in third place with this resplendent neon beauty. I’ll be totally honest in that I love neon. It’s colorful, it glows, and it just feels happy. This floating submission has a white swan behind a glorious rainbow, a neon building that I'd like to move into, and pink hearts scattered about to make you feel the love.
