I’ve always believed that playing video games is one of the best ways to learn a new language – even if you supposedly write in it for a living. In fact, Minecraft is the only reason I know what diorite is, even though sometimes I still wish I didn’t. I’m sure it has its place but not in my builds! I'm all about that prismarine.
Now that my pointless tangent icebreaker is out of the way, I have some actual exciting news: Adventures in English with Cambridge is now available to purchase for Bedrock Edition! This previously Education Edition-exclusive DLC is a fun way for students aged eight and up to practice communication skills, listening and reading comprehension, and spelling. The lesson was created in partnership with Cambridge Assessment English, the world’s leading experts in English language learning, part of the University of Cambridge in the UK, and takes place in an incredible Minecraft world! Plus, you can also download a free Character Creator item to wear on the adventure – a set of Fairy Wings called “Lilac’s Wings”.
