Compatible with your worlds
As a cosmetic enhancement to the game, Vibrant Visuals does not impact Minecraft’s gameplay. This means your existing worlds will use Vibrant Visuals, and you can play on Realms with friends whether they have Vibrant Visuals enabled or not.

Frequently asked questions
Vibrant Visuals graphics upgrade is currently only available for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Supported devices for Vibrant Visuals include Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC.
To switch to Vibrant Visuals on Xbox One, Xbox One S, PlayStation 4, and some Android devices, players need to select "Vibrant Visuals" from the Minecraft Main Menu's 'Video Settings' menu using the Graphics Mode drop-down. Performance may degrade for these devices.
- Android: Adreno 640, Mali G-57, Mali-G610, Mali-G77, or Xclipse 530 or higher
- iOS: A12 or M1 or higher
- PC: Running Minecraft on DX12
Vibrant Visuals is Minecraft’s biggest official visual enhancement – delivering a dazzling cosmetic upgrade with a new modern graphics pipeline and an array of visual improvements. As a cosmetic enhancement to the game, Vibrant Visuals does not impact Minecraft’s gameplay.
If you are playing on a compatible Minecraft: Bedrock Edition device, Vibrant Visuals will be your new default graphics mode. You will still be able to change the graphics mode via the Video settings and Graphics Mode dropdown when in the Create New World or Edit World screens.
Presets for choosing between "Favor Visuals" and "Favor Performance" are available in the Video Settings. Specific feature and visual settings can also be adjusted by expanding "Vibrant Visuals Options".
Marketplace Add-Ons, Skins, and Persona items will work with Vibrant Visuals, however, Worlds and Texture Packs are not compatible with the new mode at this time.
As a cosmetic enhancement to the game, Vibrant Visuals does not impact Minecraft’s gameplay, meaning you can play on Realms with friends whether they have Vibrant Visuals enabled or not. (Realms subscription sold separately.)
Splitscreen is not supported with Vibrant Visuals and the game will switch to Fancy or Simple rendering if multiple players are joined locally.
To play Minecraft with Vibrant Visuals on a compatible device, make sure you have the most recent version of Minecraft downloaded. To turn on Vibrant Visuals:
- Launch Minecraft and select Settings.
- Select the Video tab.
- From the Graphics Mode drop-down menu, select Vibrant Visuals.
