New on Java Realms: Life Is A Competition

If there’s one mishap that can totally ruin your day, it’s a volcano malfunction. Volcano repairers are hard to come by, they say they’re going to show up sometime between 9 and 5 and then you just sit and twiddle your thumbs all day. Thankfully, this minigame does not reflect that experience. You’re dropped into a small area and it’s all smiles as you and your friends build whatever your heart desires. Then the lava starts to rise, PvP is enabled and whoever takes a fiery dip is out for the count. Fun for the whole family!

Bingo

Let’s talk about bingo. Since 1929, this exciting pastime allows you to sit in a hall, pick some numbers in a row, and hope they are called by the host so you can yell out the titular phrase. Thrilling, right? No. Don’t @ me, bingo enthusiasts, I’m just here to tell you that this whole time your experience has been lackluster. Because today I unveil our Java Realms version, the one bingo adaption to rule them all. You have your bingo board with items you need to craft in a survival spawn, get 5 in a row and then you are free to yell out ‘Bingo!’ at the top of your lungs. Also, you win the game! Give it a try, win a game and become the envy of all your fellow content reviewers!

Build Party

Ain’t no party like a Build Party, ‘cause a Build Party don’t stop. I mean, there is a timer and a set number of rounds, but let’s not get bogged down by specifics. Build Party gives you a word, and it’s up to your imagination and Minecraft’s block palette to build a clue to the right answer. Additionally, there is a mechanic where you can be sponsored while competing in the Party! Imagine playing Picitonary with the added benefit of being able to sell your soul to a large scale corporation — that’s a winner to me!
