    Minecraft Legends official release date

    Coming to multiple platforms on April 18

    Sometimes, anticipation can be really sweet. Like going to bed before vacation and dreaming of future adventures. But the anticipation needs an end date, otherwise it’s just... “waiting.” If you’re excited to play Minecraft Legends, our upcoming action-strategy game, you’re about to find out when you can stop anticipating and start playing!

    Minecraft Legends officially releases on Tuesday, April 18! That’s the day you’ll become the hero that bravely fights back against the piglins’ Nether corruption. You'll explore a vivid open world filled with treasures and perils, turn old enemies into new friends, meet new mysterious characters, and strategize with your allies in epic battles against the vicious piglins. Minecraft Legends will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5|4, Steam, Windows 11|10, PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Xbox Cloud Gaming.

    In less than three months, you’ll be able to gallop into the Overworld of Minecraft Legends and finally show the piglins that their rampage was a huge mistake! But first, you need to make a simple choice... 

    The Deluxe Edition and Skin Pack

    At launch, Minecraft Legends will be available in two versions: the Standard Edition (i.e. the base game) for $39.99 USD and the Deluxe Edition for $49.99 USD, which includes the base game and the Deluxe Skin pack for a discounted price!

    In the Deluxe Skin Pack, you’ll get one hero skin, four mount skins to change the appearance of your trusty steed, and an additional mount skin when it becomes available post launch. The Deluxe Skin Pack will be available for purchase separately down the line for $14.99 USD, so don’t worry if you don’t get the Deluxe Edition at launch. Just note that the Deluxe Edition does offer savings compared to purchasing the base game and the Deluxe Skin Pack separately.

Check back to discover the different piglins you’ll face, the tools you’ll have at your disposal, and how your hero’s abilities can evolve throughout the campaign, among other things.
