In the wake of the events in Minecraft Dungeons, strange rifts began appearing in unexpected places across the Overworld, causing mysterious disturbances such as mobs becoming infused with strange energies and sculk spreading across large chunks of terrain.
Now, the architects behind these events have been revealed! The illagers are back, and this time, they’re being led by a terrifying triumvirate – the Prime Enchanter, the Supreme Evoker, and the Grand Illusioner. This 'Illager High Council' possesses a new power, and they're launching coordinated attacks across the Overworld! It falls to brave heroes like you to stop them before they disrupt the very balance of two worlds. I know, that's plenty of responsibility, but I'm sure you're up for the challenge!
In this adventure, you'll clash with menacing, never-before-seen foes in explosive encounters. You'll have to fight your way through hordes of mobs that will do everything in their power to stop you from defeating the Illager High Council and saving the day. The challenges might be tougher than ever before, but you'll be able to face them either alone or with up to 4 players in online or couch co-op. You also have a large arsenal of weapons, armor, enchants, talismans, and artifacts that you will discover during your journey. Combine your favorite pieces and craft your own playstyle – there's no right or wrong way to play! As long as it's cool, colorful, and creative, you’re doing it right!
In Minecraft Dungeons II, you're not just diving into new and unexplored territories in the Overworld – you're heading to a previously unknown dimension: the Sift, a realm unlike any other, filled with otherworldly wonders, strange mobs, and mysteries just waiting to be uncovered!
However, you're not the only outsider in this weird landscape. The illagers are up to no good, and their presence can be felt throughout this colorful dimension. If you're brave enough to venture into the Sift, you will discover extraordinary environments, encounter bizarre beings both friendly and hostile, and face challenges that will put your skills to the test. Can you unravel the secrets of the Sift and stop those who seek to exploit it?
