    Build Challenge: Statues

    Throughout history, civilization has been fascinated with memorializing myths and influential people in stone and other mediums: from the fabled Colossus of Rhodes to large carvings on the sides of mountains and other natural facades.

    That’s why we asked our community to submit their most spectacular statuesque creations! Builds were to be of decent size and players had to work by themselves. There were so many gorgeous and creative submissions that it was hard for us to choose the top three.

    Read on to see which ones had us reaching for our chisels!

    1st place: Jonathize

    This submission from Jonathize is nothing short of breathtaking. The detail on the tattered clothing is truly incredible. How they were able to achieve a sheer fabric effect is remarkable.

    2nd place: Prettygirl11387

    Our next statue comes from Prettygirl11387. Can you believe this was their first time creating a large full body build of a dog?! We just love how the dog and cat are giving each other an adorable high five – so wholesome!

    3rd place: 4___

    Finally, we have 4____ and their submission. This luminous statue in an overgrown garden is not only awe-inspiring but there’s a little hint of mystery too. The light rays peering through the eyes make things feel a little ominous, as if the statue is watching your every move.
