What a journey it’s been! But just when I thought it was ending, it was actually beginning. And not just because I was running around in circles again. The striking beauty and calm of the Cherry Grove inspired me to share my experiences with the rest of the Overworld. Yes. I know. I am that great. Take it in.
Now get over it! We’ve got work to do! Business to be exact. The happy ghast and I are opening our very own company: Happy Ghast Tours of the Overworld Skies for Four or Less Family Funtime Extravaganza™!
We’re still working on the name. Those happy ghasts sure are wordy. Branding could wait, we needed to get our new HQ up and running! My old base was fine, but now that I had seen what the rest of the Overworld had to offer I realized I had outgrown it. And this new adventure needed some loftier digs so the happy ghast could easily pick up new passengers and then sail straight out into the sky. I knew just the place, but first thing’s first! We needed to peddle back and pick up a few things.
The happy ghast and I set out to retrace our steps. We already had saplings from the Cherry Grove, so we went straight to the Warm Ocean where we filled up on sea pickles and some more coral. Then it was off to the Badlands. The armadillo recognized me immediately and rolled right into the my arms! What was I to do but leash it to the happy ghast?
With the armadillo secured, we moved on to the next stop, and then flew right past the cave leading to the Deep Dark! Nope! Not again! I had enough soul lanterns and sculk to last me a lifetime. Instead, we hopped through the Mangrove Swamp for some warm frogs and then scooped up some axolotls from the lush cave.
Before I could leave, my Player Locater bar went off! So Noor was here after all! The scamp. I didn’t have time to find them, but shouted a very loud and informative ad for the Happy Ghast Tours of the Overworld Skies for Four or Less Family Funtime Extravaganza™. The name was starting to grow on me! I paid my respects to an enormous skeleton mob head and decided not to put two and two together. I was a travel agent now, not an algebra sleuth.
We moved on to the Bamboo Forest, where a panda joined the armadillo. Then, we revisited the Plains to pick flowers and avoid pillagers before it was Snowy Taiga time! I gathered more flowers and berry bushes, and a bunny. We were almost at max capacity but there was one final stop.
The Nether. Oh, how I dreaded it. But I wanted this venture to work. To build some courage, I gave the happy ghast a new harness. This one dyed pink, which filled me with hope and glee. I promised to complete its set with all 16 colors once we were settled.
Back at the portal I had crafted all those weeks ago, I ran through without thinking. I had learned that sometimes, you just have to do the hard thing. Ugh. But sure enough, I was rewarded with an armful of dried ghast blocks. I couldn’t wait to dunk them in some water and watch the ghastlings grow into happy ghast. We were finally ready to set sail for the Jagged Peaks.
