Explore a lush, free DLC, a new clothing collection, and the importance of forest restoration
The new, free DLC, Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond, reflects Burberry and Minecraft’s appreciation of the wonder of nature. As the player, you venture into an alternate reality version of London taken over by a malevolent entity called the Nexus. Once a place blooming with foliage and gentle animals, this land has been drained of color and life. Its inhabitants have been scattered to the four realms of air, water, fire, and earth, and your quest is to restore the spirit of the wild by traveling to each realm, reviving its Nature Guardian, and freeing the animals trapped there.
On your adventure, you’ll encounter creative references to the Burberry brand’s universe – including an Equestrian Knight character, Thomas Burberry Monogram maze, and a range of members from the Burberry animal kingdom, each bestowed with mystical powers.
This map also includes 15 Burberry skins, from stylish outfits to armor and even elemental-themed skins. Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond is available to download now for free on Minecraft Marketplace. Plus, if you visit a Burberry flagship store, look closely because you might find a QR code that grants you access to an additional five Character Creator items: a Burberry Block backpack, cap, sunglasses, sneakers, and trench coat!
Burberry capsule collection – inspiring modern adventurers
To celebrate this collaboration, the Minecraft x Burberry capsule collection takes inspiration from the great outdoors, with unique designs that merge the two brands’ iconic styles. Featuring an unexpected mix of classic Burberry garments and Minecraft-inspired prints, this collection aims to transform everyday staples and inspire modern adventurers. From the iconic trench coat to casual hoodies and eye-catching accessories, each piece will remind you of your Minecraft adventures as you explore the world.
Conservation International – restoring forests
For the adventurers of tomorrow, Burberry and Minecraft are donating $100,000 to Conservation International’s forest protection and restoration programs. These funds will help protect 500,000 trees and plant 25,000 trees, and also help conserve critical wildlife habitats in places where Conservation International supports. Just as you work to restore natural realms in Burberry: Freedom to Go Beyond, we are funding forest restoration in real life. Beginning today through the end of the calendar year, every Conservation International donor, regardless of how much they give, will receive a QR code granting them access to a Burberry Character Creator Pack, featuring five character accessories for your in-game explorations (Microsoft Terms & Conditions apply).
