Update: MINECON Earth is TODAY!

Yes, it's true! MINECON Earth is today! But don't panic. Here, we've compiled you a list of everything you need to know to enjoy MINECON Earth. So you can leave all the panicking to me! Hooray?

HOW DO I WATCH MINECON EARTH?

We wanted to make MINECON accessible to everyone this year, which is why MINECON Earth is a livestream, broadcasting worldwide, that you can watch any way you like. We'll be hosting the livestream right here on Minecraft.net. It'll also be streaming on YouTube, Mixer and Xbox Live!

So whether you're watching at home, with friends and family at home, or somewhere else entirely (does your local Sea Temple get decent internet?), you can watch the show wherever you like!

But if you'd like to experience MINECON Earth with a large group of Minecraft players, why not see if one of our official viewing parties is in your area?

We'll be hosting a trio of events ourselves, with several Minecraft developers in attendance! At the Copper Box Arena in London, the Museum of Pop Culture in Seattle and the Living Computers Museum in Seattle. You can find more info about all three events here. Hurry, while there's still tickets left!

WHAT'S GOING TO BE IN THE LIVE SHOW?

Oh, you want me to spoil the entire show for you? No problem! First of all, we'll be officially announcing the U-[SOUND OF MARSH DRAGGING ME AWAY FROM MY KEYBOARD AND REMINDING ME HOW 'SURPRISES' WORK]

Yep, there's tons of surprises we'll be saving for next week's livestream, but what I can tell you is that the show will be hosted by Mojang's own Lydia Winters and hilarious comedic actor, Will Arnett!

We'll also be sharing the winner of this year's costume competition (we can't wait to show you the top three entries!) and Melissa Benoist will be sharing something Super. Jens will also be onstage to talk about some new Minecraft updates.

Plus, you (yes YOU) will be voting for a new mob to be added to Minecraft!

Next week, I'll be posting a new article to Minecraft.net each day with more info about these four mysterious mobs, to help you decide which one you want added to the game. Remember! Only the winning mob can be added to Minecraft, and we'll be opening voting LIVE only during the MINECON Earth livestream on November 18th. So make sure you watch live if you want your chance to vote for your favourite mob!
