Play Wilderness Bound in Realms

Have you ever thought about how big the Overworld is? Specifically, the outdoor parts?  There’s just so much of it. And so little time, in comparison. As a writer, I refuse to do any official math, but the hours of the day just don’t add up to the amount of terrain to trek. For one person, that is! But if you add a few friends, you should be able to cover a lot more ground. Luckily, when you subscribe to Realms Plus or Marketplace Pass*, you can bring up to ten friends with you on your expedition through the dappled forest! 

How long would it take you and your ten friends to chart the dappled forest? OK, we’re veering dangerously close to mathematical territory now, so let’s course correct by looking at some specific things you can do in Realms with all your happy campers. 

Crops & Farms 1.5 

The thing about being on the road that nobody talks about is how peckish it makes you. But not I! I shall speak of it at length. Just as soon as I’m done eating this roasted turkey. What’s that? How am I eating roasted turkey when there aren’t any in the Overworld? So glad you asked, even though I can see you eyeing my meal. This add-on doesn’t only bring a veritable feast – table included, of course – but they have also released a ra’fter of turkeys. Dappled turkeys! And they’re bound to taste delicious.  

Along with dishes like mixed nut pie, pancakes, sweet potatoes, and cornbread, the add-on lets you cozy up by the campfire to roast kabob and marshmallows. Just don’t get too close to the flames, you don’t want to singe your new fall outfit!  

Camping Backpack Add-on 

You’re going to discover more than just new spaces and places – there’s loot out there as well! Sweet, sweet loot. But your inventory only holds so much, which is why the Camping Backpack add-on is a camping necessity. Not only does it add a portable backpack base and waypoints, but it also brings new tents in a myriad of colors and craftable base furniture. You can even stack it with other add-ons! Now that’s the smartest packing I’ve seen since sliced bread was placed inside of a bag.  

Alright, let’s do a final check before we head out. Gear? Check. Friends? Check. Stolen sandwiches from the developers’ fridge? Check, check, check. Hold on... there’s that accidental math again! Quick, to the forest before I craft an abacus!
