Three startling add-ons

“It was like the house had sprung to life! Lamps flickered on and off, bookcases sent books flying in every direction, even the piano plink-plonked in agony,” one of the investigators tells us. Reports also describe a rocking chair rocking without anyone in it, and a chess board that played by itself. Upon approaching a chest (assumedly) left behind by Sophie to seek clues, the chest grew teeth and attacked the detectives! It soon became clear that even if Sophie had decorated the place with the free Scary Furniture add-on, there was no way she was brave enough to stick around in this hostile environment...  

PAID ADD-ON: Mob Lights by Horizon Blocks* 

Back outside, the search took another turn as an unfamiliar trail of lights looking exactly like mobs caught the team’s attention. Experts were called in and, upon closer inspection, identified these as part of the Mob Lights add-on by Horizon Blocks! The search continued down a very atmospheric path illuminated by llamas, axolotls, cats, wolves, creepers, and other cozy mob lights and was only temporarily halted when the team realized you could add everything from sombreros to cowboy hats to them.

PAID ADD-ON: Monster Food by Noxcrew*

The trail ended at a campground where, according to one of the detectives, “somebody had been cooking up all kinds of trouble.” Strewn on the ground were leftovers from Brain Juice, Ender Eye Skewer, Piglin Pizza, Slime Stew, Swamp Latte, a Poisoned Cream Cone, and over 56(!) disturbing dishes from the Monster Food add-on. It was evident that whoever had been feasting here clearly lacked table manners and, after speaking to those close to our victim, that somebody had to be Sophie.

Two new starter packs

To prepare the public for what they might face in the pale garden, authorities have created two new starter packs that include Minecoins, adventure worlds, add-ons, and Character Creator items.

The Weapons Pack will equip you with a range of unique weapons and dragon skins. 

The Scary Pack will instead train you in facing jump scares, mutated zombies, natural disasters, and other horrors in this world and beyond. 

We have just received confirmation that the investigation is currently on pause as all three add-ons and the starter packs are now available at Minecraft Marketplace, and the team has taken a break to go see what other hats they can put on mob lights. We will be back tomorrow to continue the search for Sophie and hopefully pick up a very deserved rewarded achievement. See you then!
