Some people say that life is a puzzle you’re trying to solve. Where do I fit in? What should I spend my time on? More importantly, which Minecraft map should I play next? Well, you've come to the right place for some (one) of your philosophical questions! If life is puzzling you out and you just need a break from it all, why not dig into one of our puzzle maps as a change of pace?
New on Java Realms: Everyday I’m Puzzlin’
14 maps for you to piece together!
On the first day there was light. In the forthcoming days, a bunch of other irrelevant stuff happened, what’s important is that eventually our mapmakers took that light and turned it into a puzzle game! In Lightbox you guide light particles on their journey home, sorta like a Finding Nemo but with, uh, light particles instead of fish. You can even build your own levels, and with a bit of wordsmithing say that you’re working with light particle physics if your mom asks if you still play Minecraft maps for a living.
SOKOBAN COLLECTION
by shurik204
Sokoban is a game genre which saw its debut 1982. The concept was universally loved – after all, who wouldn’t want to live out their wildest dreams of being a warehouse worker pushing crates to their proper places? Sokoban Collection, conveniently released around the 39th anniversary of the genre is the latest and hottest entry with a whooping 3525 levels to figure out. If your fear of a dystopian future is that robots will replace warehouse workers and there will be no more games mirroring that experience, rest assured: the puzzles are considered beyond NP-hard for AI, which after my cursory glance at the article, doesn’t seem to stand for ‘no problem’.
SKY GOLF
by Spiralio, SirPuffy & Soup_Man
Regular golf? Boring. Mini golf? A little boring. For the bona fide experience, you have to take it to the skies with Sky Golf! I hereby declare all PGA tournament results invalid; if you’re not playing your golf at death-defying heights, with booster pads that will either speed up or slow down your ball, it’s not real golf in my eyes. Tiger Woods, consider yourself on short notice – if I don’t see a video of you completing the blue, yellow, green, orange, red, purple & pink courses by the time this article is published, your titles are forfeited, and would then default to me. Look at me now, ma!
