Like many siblings around the world, I have an urge to engage in some light-hearted, competitive rivalry with my sister. This urge makes me compete fiercely, whether we are playing board games, breaking into spontaneous snowball fights, or engaging in debates on whose hoodie is this, actually. The new Chaos Cubed drop presents many tantalizing opportunities to test our mettle. I can finally stage a whole Olympic games style event on our realm and invite a bunch of friends to witness my inevitable victory! And could some of those games include lobbing magma and TNT infused sulfur cubes at one another? Yes, please!
But when drafting invitations to this grand tournament, I started to feel like it was lacking a final category with big enough stakes (yes, in addition to the explosive TNT sulfur cubes).
Then, it hit me. Historically, there have been some pretty great archeological rivalries. Why not conclude our Chaos Cubed games with a competitive dig?
So, here’s what I’m planning. Me, my sister, and a bunch of friends will start on a brand-new private Minecraft realm. Spawning into a fresh world and splitting into two teams, we’ll instantly get to work gathering resources and building supplies. Then, both teams will set out to find sulfur caves. Whichever team returns first from the caves and builds a mighty cinnabar monument as proof of their subterranean adventures… wins eternal sibling bragging rights! Hooray!
And no-one said it was forbidden to cook up a little chaos to distract to other team along the way…
But you know what would make this expedition-battle – or any expedition, for that matter – even more amazing?
