M.A.T.H. Mummy Mayhem makes geometry fun

Even though I've obnoxiously lectured many people on the utility of mathematics (it’s like exercise for your brain!), I still have a hard time making it sound fun. It turns out that the secret is to add puzzles, pyramids, and a mysterious mummy! 

Created by the Minecraft Education team in partnership with Cambridge Mathematics, M.A.T.H. Mummy Mayhem takes you on a gripping adventure to the pyramids of Egypt, where ancient secrets have been lying in wait for the right adventurer to reveal them. Each puzzle you solve will bring you closer to the hidden truth, advancing your knowledge of mathematics and the pyramid’s story. But watch your back as you explore, because rumors say that the last adventurer who ventured into this enigmatic pyramid never returned. Could it be the doing of the fabled mathematical mummy?

To advance through the levels and solve the mystery, you will have to clear various geometric challenges with shapes, symmetry, and spatial reasoning. From completing a jigsaw puzzle to filling out a symmetry grid and much more, Mummy Mayhem will walk you through various mathematical concepts through engaging hands-on tasks and storytelling, furthering your understanding of the subject in a thrilling way. By completing the puzzles, you will discover clues that will lead you to the secret of the pyramid.

Mummy Mayhem is the first DLC in the Minecraft Agents in Time and History (M.A.T.H.) series, and it’s available now for free in the Minecraft Education in-game library.
