Minecraft 1.21.4 Release Candidate 1

After yesterday's announcement that the The Garden Awakens drop comes out on December 3rd, today we're releasing the first release candidate!

If no new critical issues surface, this is the version we are planning to ship as Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.4.

• MC-278494 - Resin Bricks appears twice in "mineable/pickaxe" block tag
• MC-278548 - Spyglass is held incorrectly when used from the off hand

Get the Release Candidate

Release Candidates are available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To install the Release Candidate, open up the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the "Installations" tab.

Testing versions can corrupt your world, so please backup and/or run them in a different folder from your main worlds.
