Eight haunted maps!
Hello, my name is Oskar, and welcome to the show Paranormal Maptivity, where we hunt ghosts and play Minecraft maps – hopefully at the same time! Ghosts are a peculiar set of mythical beings. In addition to secretly writing songs for famous artists and not responding to our text messages, they are now venturing into Java Realms mapmaking! In today’s show, we will play through our latest release of maps and see if we can find a live (err, you catch my drift) ghost in any of them!
While hunting ghosts and other scary monsters, there’s a great way to earn bonus points: go for the famous ones! In Servants of Darkness, the supernatural celebrities that have both entered the mortal realm and the public domain will show up in eight creatively crafted boss battles, and it’s up to Minecraft adventure map stalwarts Pip and Grover to overcome these occult opponents! Grab a friend for this epic co-op story map and share the joy of kicking Dr. Jekyll (feat. Mr. Hyde), the Werewolf, Frankenstein (of ‘the Doctor’s Monster’ fame), and other paranormal butts!
The fact that vacuums are the premier weapon to fight our ethereal enemies raises concern on many levels. A potential price hike by “Big Cleaning” just to mention one! Nevertheless, these gadgets do what they were built to do, fight ghosts! So any dust bunnies will have to wait in Ghost Hunters. Here you and your team must stop the opposing team of ghosts from gathering Soul Orbs to open a portal to the spirit realm!
Let’s “shift” gears a little - eh? The fact that so many souls from the afterlife choose to loiter around graveyards after their best-before date amazes me. I would prefer finding a nice, scenic beach, and hovering horizontally over a hammock if there’d be no objections. It could also be that they never leave their natural spawn point, and your job is to keep it exactly that way in Graveyard Shift! This fast-paced minigame lets you play whack-a-mole with ghosts who are trying to pop back into the world of the living, cemetery etiquette notwithstanding!
