From Friday, July 10 at 9AM PST to Sunday, July 12 at 12PM PST, the entire catalog will be free to access as part of the Marketplace Pass Free Weekend promotion. Explore select Marketplace content from immersive adventure worlds to game-changing add-ons and dazzling skins! All you need to do is log in to your Minecraft account and go to Minecraft Marketplace during the promotional period.

You do not! Marketplace Pass Free Weekend doesn’t require any billing info or subscriptions. You log in as usual, enjoy the content, and only sign up for a Marketplace Pass trial/subscription IF you want to, once the promotion has ended. 

Can I get Marketplace content at discounted prices during Marketplace Pass Free Weekend? 

No, Marketplace Pass content sales are not included in the Marketplace Pass Free Weekend promotion. These discounts are only available to players with an active subscription. 

Can I get the free Character Creator items included in Marketplace Pass June? 

The free Character Creator items are only available to players with an active Marketplace Pass subscription. But you can try out plenty of amazing skin packs from the catalogue! 

What happens to the content I download during Marketplace Pass Free Weekend once the promotion is over? 

Past Sunday, July 12 at 12PM PST, all the paid content that you downloaded as part of the promotion will be removed from your account and worlds, including add-ons. The worlds you built will remain, but any add-on features applied to them will no longer be active. 

How can I keep the content I enjoyed during Marketplace Pass Free Weekend? 

You have two options. The first is to purchase the piece of content outright using Minecoins and keep it forever. Your second option is to sign up for a free trial of Marketplace Pass and gain access to all the content included in the subscription – but keep in mind you’ll only have access to the content as long as it’s part of the Marketplace Pass catalogue and your subscription is active; to keep it forever, use your Marketplace Pass content discount to purchase it!
