Mounts of Mayhem: Movie Arena

Our champion might not be wearing pink leather but they are wearing Netherite armor, which some would argue is a wise decision when facing off with a foe.

The audience is growing restless, they’re running around and laying eggs and staring deep into my soul. Oh, maybe I should mention for those of you reading in – we decided against inviting a herd of vindicators. But not for the reasons you think! We’re in a very personal feud about who stole whose eyebrow gel. So instead the woodland mansion housing our arena is packed to the rafters with… chickens!

They’re not the most engaged audience, but they are excitable so it evens out.

*PLOP*

The chicken in the arena has laid the commencement egg, marking the start of the match! Our armored hero rushes towards the chicken, who in turn rushes right out of the ring. Coward! The hero is as confused as the rest of us. Did they win? I don’t know! Nor do the chickens. But they are moving a little more erratically than usual now. Hmmm. That can’t be good.

And reader, it isn’t good! It is an entire herd of chicken jockeys! This is unheard of, and incredibly adorable albeit terrifying. Dozens of chickens being ridden by jockeys of all types. Husks, zombies, and drowned, oh my! The mounts may be miniatures, but the mayhem is at max! The swarm is surrounding the hero, who is going to need every single ore of that armor. As the close in, our hero whips out several potions flasks, drinking one after the other. Strength, swiftness, even regeneration! What a bottled buffet!

The jockeys are close enough to attack now but thankfully the armor seems to be enchanted as well! It’s not breaking, and the spear they’re wielding is moving incredibly fast. It must be enchanted with the new lunge enchantment! I haven’t seen it in action before! Our hero is out fending off these jockeys at an incredible rate!

There goes the last chicken jockey! The jockey-less chickens are running amok, the hero is taking a victory lap, and our community recreation builders have already completed Malgosha’s stronghold. I’m going to go inspect the structure, someone needs to make sure that the throne is ominous enough. I’ll be back soon for another challenge. Stay tuned, and stay mounted for more mayhem!
