Meet Mob B
The Monster of the Night Skies
During this Saturday's livestream of MINECON Earth (which you can watch right here on this site) you'll get the chance to vote for a new mob to be added to Minecraft! There are four potential mobs but only one winner will be added to the game, so make sure you watch MINECON Earth live this Saturday, November 18th, and vote!
Yesterday, Jens talked about Mob A - The Monster of the Ocean Depths. Today it's the turn of Mob B – The Monster of the Night Skies. This manta-ray-like monster is a flying creature that spawns at high altitudes. It is attracted to insomnia, and will find players who haven't slept for many days. It will swoop down in groups and bite your flesh. You should vote for Mob B, because there are currently no flying monsters in the overworld. Jens Bergensten
As someone so busy in the run up to MINECON that he can't even remember what sleep is anymore, this mob sounds like it could cause real problems. Then again, a monster that gives me an excuse to never leave my bed definitely sounds appealing.
